The controller looks wild. That was my first thought. With a touh-screen inside the controller as well as a camera and a full set of buttons to mash it looks to be very innovative, and maybe even revolutionary.
The console will be released next year and will have a 3-4 year head start on the next gen offerings from Microsoft and Playstation.
The other surprise was the software line up with a big shot EA exec coming on stage during the Nintendo press conference and announcing that they will be taking the Wii U seriously and potentially be putting games on the Wii U along with PS3 and Xbox360.
