Exam Tips

I have finished my exams and eagerly await the surprises that summer may bring. I know it’s late in the day to be giving advice, but I feel I have coped well with my exams and whilst I’m overcome with a sense of relief and adulation, I will share what wisdom I have.

The first thing I would suggest is making sure that you get good nights sleep pre-exam. Sounds obvious but if you spend all night revising for a morning exam then you’re not doing yourself any favours really.

I would suggest having some notes that you can read over on your way to the exam but these shouldn’t be very long and should try to incorporate the your main difficulties, such as remembering equations

You’ve also got to start revising weeks in advance ideally. It means that there isn’t a mad rush for knowledge closer to the occasion.

My biggest advice would be to stay calm, cool and collected. There’s nothing wrong with being worried but when the papers in front of you, you have to be thinking about the exam questions and nothing else.

I’m sure you didn’t need my advice to help you pass your exams but being the good citizen I am, I hope it helps.
